Old School Diary Of A Wimpy Kid
by Jeff Kinney

This book if one of my favorites in the Diary of a Wimpy kid series. I really like the author Jeff Kinney! He is very creative and unique! I really love his books and I cant wait to see what he writes next! The book is basically about how Greg Heffley's parents always used to talk about how it used to be for them in the olden days and that their son, Greg, should try to do the same as well. He went on a camping trip in his school and all they talked about was Sillis scratch the farmer that got fired from his job. And the whole story was just made by his father!! He was hiding a bathroom from everyone else so he made up a story that the shack was Sillis scratches shack. He soon told his son Greg and told him not to tell anyone! Read the book to see what happens next!

by Tara Westover

Overall I really enjoyed this book and I found Tara's life story very interesting and eye-opening. I loved reading through her different journeys and learning about different cultures.

Jackpot Nic Stone
by Nic Stone

I really enjoyed this book! I think it is very relatable for teenagers because it focuses on two very different high school experiences. There is adventure and romance, with even a little comedy mixed in. I couldn't put the book down once I started it. I highly recommend this book.

The Necklace
by Guy De Maupassant

This book by Guy De Maupassant is a pretty good short story. It teaches a lesson well and it is a fun little book to read, however, the language is a little bit hard because of the fact that it was meant for highschoolers. However, it teaches a good lesson, and it is a good little short story.

Ink In The Blood
by Kim Smejkal

This book is full of wonder, magic, and whimsy, which I’m all here for. Ink in the Blood was a fascinating read, but only in the latter half. Unfortunately, this story didn’t spark my interest in the beginning. Also, while the content felt like it was for a YA audience, the writing at times seemed for middle grade readers. However, that was just my take on some parts of the story and overall this was an enjoyable read. I’m glad I stayed until the end.

The Maze Runner
by James Dashner

Very good book that made you want to read more about the mysterious dystopian world the book takes place in

Sleeping Freshman Never Lie
by David Lubar

It is an ok book and funny, but it makes fun of the things that it does myself. In the JHS, there is not that much bullying going around, and it is different from the high-school presented in this book.

Sleeping Freshmen Never Lie
by David Lubar

It is only a four star because of the fact that it does the things that it does usually. This is mainly because of the fact that he gets the girl, which is not true and not how it would work regularly. It is an ok book and I like it because it is fun to read.
